People, places and even moments she encounters in daily life inspire Dinaz’s art. Her versatile range of work consists of book illustrations, murals, portraits, and paintings.
Her work has been selected and exhibited in a number of juried art shows In USA and Canada, including the prestigious Art Directors’ club of New York’s annual student show, Oakville Arts council and Art Gallery of Peel in Canada.
Having graduated with a major in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts, New York, Dinaz also studied portrait painting at Sheridan College in Canada. She holds a Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Training, which combined with her art background, has led her to create specialized art classes for children and adults. Now based in Malaysia, she practices as an artist, art educator and free-lance illustrator. Her workshops and presentations have been held at various schools including Chung Cheng High School Singapore and German European School Singapore.
She has illustrated children’s books including “In the Park” a bilingual children’s book written by Coonoor Kripalani, published in Singapore 2009. She has also designed and created wall murals for establishments such as Little hands Montessori Kindergarten, Singapore.
